Really has nothing to do with the datalink until you get rid of the TSSM and install a standard TSM. All depends on your multimeter, but usually continuity test and diode test are the same position on the dial. The TSM will prevent the bike from even turning over (by disrupting the starter circuit) let alone starting if there is a bank angle sensor issue, bike is not in neutral or if it is in gear and the clutch lever is not pulled in.....so the fact that you get it to run for a second let alone 5 seconds says that it is not due to bypassing the TSM. yu can kinda tell it is a forced kill.....dont know how to explain it but maybe you kinda know what im saying. If you have 12 vdc to both sides of the fuse you have a broken wire between the accessory fuse and the turn signal module. i initially cut off the data link connector but wired it back in so i could use it for codes etc if need be. mod.
